Today is a day of celebration for Affari as our 3rd birthday coincides with our Senior Designer, Korie Cull, taking home The Guardian newspaper’s Rising Star award last night!

Korie Cull, Our Senior Designer was shortlisted for this award last October, which is part of the The Guardian Small Business Network that pays tribute to people who have made immense achievements in business. It is his ambitions and dedication towards our agency as well as his cutting-edge design work that impressed the judges! Korie has now led several Fujitsu campaigns here at Affari, one of which (Fujitsu Infrastructure) was shortlisted for the prestigious B2B Marketing Awards.

Korie’s unyielding commitment to Affari since he joined 3 years ago has shaped us into the ground-breaking creative agency we are today. It takes a special talent to have the ability to continuously seek to innovate, collaborate and create such outstanding work, time and time again!

Three is a magic number…

Coincidently The Guardian Small Business network are also celebrating their 3rd birthday; so as 3 does seem to be the magic number today we thought that we would share 3 things that you may not know about Affari:

1. Our name ‘Affari’ is actually Italian for ‘Business’ and was discovered by Ben (our Creative Director) whilst eating dinner with a Sicilian friend!
2. Affari actually started out as a digital magazine for women in business.
3. We are continuously developing behind the scenes- and we have an incredible new digital marketing platform being released very shortly!

Three going on thirty…

So, Happy Birthday Affari and Well Done Korie on not just your award, but for enabling Affari to grow from a small partnership to the fast expanding, increasingly exciting and incredibly successful agency we are today. We celebrate our 3rd birthday as a business well beyond our early years…and we can’t wait to see where we will be in another 3!
