ESPRIMO G558

Fujitsu approached Affari to conceptualise a campaign which promoted their new Mini-PC range. The campaign was shaped around the launch of the new ESPRIMO G558, focussing on the benefits of utilising mini PC’s in the workplace. We accomplished this through a collection of foundational assets to be used across the campaign. This included a ‘core’ 3D animation, as well as, messaging, content creation, eGuide, social collateral and tangible, promotional material to use during Fujitsu Forum 2018.

ESPRIMO G558

Fujitsu approached Affari to conceptualise a campaign which promoted their new Mini-PC range. The campaign was shaped around the launch of the new ESPRIMO G558, focussing on the benefits of utilising mini PC’s in the workplace. Pre-Production

Process: Concept Development (Style-frames), Storyboarding, 3D Modelling

The client requested that the video take place in various office settings. This was to display the multiple-use case scenarios and flexibility of the new ESPRIMO G558 device. We began creating multiple office environments and wanted a modern workspace with minimal detail. During this stage, the storyboards were drafted to nail down the narrative and callout compositions.

Pre-Production

The client requested that the video take place in various office settings. This was to display the multiple-use case scenarios and flexibility of the new ESPRIMO G558 device. We began creating multiple office environments and wanted a modern workspace with minimal detail. During this stage, the storyboards were drafted to nail down the narrative and callout compositions.

Process: Cameras, Rigging and Rendering.

Our motion team were provided with a highly detailed CAD model, which allowed our team to focus on texturing the product utilising images of the device, to match the materials and branded elements. As the animation focuses on the ESPRIMO G558 being located in an office environment, we relied on fast matching action cuts to transition from shot-to-shot, showcasing the flexibility of the ESPRIMO G558. Because of the interior scene, render times had to be seriously considered. Therefore, our team introduced a brand new technique that utilises AI to de-noise footage and this was used on the rendered frames for a cleaner image.

Some shots required a little more work in order to give the shot context, such as the time lapse of people moving through a busy office environment which was done entirely in post. Finally, call outs were added in post to support the voiceover, along with a backing track and a Fujitsu compliant intro/outro.
