Our client Bureau Veritas required a logo design for their new service offering ‘SEAMLESS’. We were considerate of Bureau Veritas’ existing company logo and how we could create a new asset that would be sympathetic of the existing brand. We wanted to produce a timeless design that was both elegant and established. The use of unique and contextual illustrations were explored to tell the story of the SEAMLESS offering and the journey of the cotton through this visual message, before arriving at the decision to keep it simple, direct and timeless with a cotton plant.

We wanted to produce a timeless design that was both elegant and established. Concept Development

After some exploration into a stamp style logo, we arrived at a modern take on this with an antique essence – to portray a sense of history in line with the Bureau Veritas logo.

Originally, the tagline was extensive and we felt that by simplifying the statement it allowed for a more balanced design whilst remaining to the point. This recommendation allowed for the traditional stamp style approach to be paired back and made more contemporary.

The Final Design

There is a classic and timeless feel, with synonymity to the brand. The design is clean and modern, where simplicity is utilised for uniformity to give a refined premium feel. There is a fragility to the illustration, that is echoed in the delicate sans serif typeface.

After reducing the content, we feel that the remaining text is confident and to the point, whilst also allowing for a spacious, tidy and balanced design.

The imagery is soft and elegant with a touch of fragility as an essence delivered with the soft focus and delicate colours.
